I can't study every day, but I did 500 over the weekend and I did 60 on Tuesday. I'll do more tomorrow. I've been through all the MCQ once and am starting my second round. I'm not comfortable at all with the tax material so I think I will need two full weekends focusing on tax with little B-Law quizzes/note review sprinkled throughout the days. I'm sure you are going to do better than you think on FAR. You're working really hard and I think it will pay off.

I just got through UCC. CPAexcel is VERY thorough with this section. I feel a little overwhelmed at the sheer volume especially since I haven't even started the tax section yet. I'm actually looking forward to studying tax though so hopefully it's a downhill slide for me now. Getting through Blaw is a big deal for me at this point. lol

    REG 8/15/14 (73); 11/13/14 (82)-expired 🙁
    AUD 5/30/15 (80)
    BEC 11/28/15 (75)
    FAR 7/30/16

@Tax lady the 15 to 20 minute lectures are a little long compared to the other sections of CPAexcel. I'm close to the same point you are in the material. I looked ahead to tax and some of them are in the 20 minute area as well but I'm hoping those include problems being worked through. I am planning on sitting on August 9 and I think I should be done by July 26 so I can review for two weeks. I study about 30 hours a week.

@bbrandenburg10 Have you used CPAexcel for all of the other sections you have taken and passed? You have great scores. I like CPAexcel, but it just seems almost too thorough. Hopefully it's worth it for me when I take Reg on the 15th of August.

@Tax lady, yes, I've used it for all three. I'll say I never feel unprepared on test day. Audit was the first one I took. I got a 69 but never took a single note and only did like half the questions. At that point I wasn't taking the exam seriously. My friends think I'm crazy for doing so much work but when they see my scores they stop laughing.

Mamabear, I bet you're closer to being ready than you think you are. Ninja MCQ is hard and grades hard from what I've heard, so if you're judging readiness by your scores on that, you're likely selling yourself short. You've got this!

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

@Mamabear If you are short on time, focus on tax – especially corporate and partnership. I don't think I'm breaking any disclosure rules, but basis, basis, basis!

In my opinion, the business law questions on the exam were not as detailed or convoluted as the review stuff.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

I appreciate the advice NYC. My plan is straight tax for the next two weekends. I'll do my darndest, but I won't hold my breath. Who knows? Maybe the CPA gods will smile down on me and give me an easy test. 🙂

Cmertes: I just started and the material is great so far. The comments on his teaching style are definitely not overblown, I find his lectures interesting and entertaining. These are the first videos I've bought so far but if all goes well I'm going to order the Cram for AUD as well…

After returning from a much needed vacation I'll be starting REG in a couple days. Hopefully it'll be my last time studying!
