I just finished my first practice exam in Wiley and I got an 81. I'm testing on 7/1. I'm assuming this has no bearing on how the actual exam will go but it at least made me realize that my study plan is working at least to some degree. Now off to bed and hit it hard tomorrow!

So while Ive been able to rely on a bit of prior foundation for FAR & BEC I've decided that REG is going to require a little bit of additional help. Using the 10pt package and Wiley book, planning to add NINJA MCQs and really feel like I need some solid but condensed video (a full course is definitely not my preferance). I've reviewed Roger Cram and it looks interesting. Anybody use it for REG? Any feedback?

I used Rogers full course and I found him great. I am pretty sure his Cram will be just as good.

How is everyone's study weekend going? I got through all of property taxation last night, got 7 full hours of sleep (Yayy!) and ready to tackle Corporate tax today. I'm moving on even though I can't seem to get all the MACRS rules down. If anyone has any tips on that I would appreciate it. Happy studies today everyone!

Discrepancy on “safe harbor”. I've seen that no penalty is charged for underpayment of estimated taxes IF 100% of the current liability is paid and I've seen it at 90%. Which one is correct?

It's technically both, I believe. If you paid at least 90% of current year then you can avoid the penalty. If you paid 100%, you paid over 90%, so you can avoid the penalty either way.

Unfortunately, I'm back for me punishment. I'm taking REG 7/3, but I'm a little worried about the 2014 changes. I've looked a few up online. Any suggestions?

Going to have two weeks to thoroughly review material/memorize prior to my exam in early July.

@How many – I decided to purchase the Rogers Cram (I haven't used it on any of the previous three), I've only watched a few videos. So far so good, I watched a few of the free Roger's videos for FAR. Using Wiley book plus Ninja 10 point combo. Might be overload, but I want to ensure I wrap this up 🙂
