Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had a detailed list of allowable income and expense items for taxable estate income? Would things like bank charges, penalty and interest, withdrawals, savings account interest not included in prior year return, municipal bond interest, government bond interest, net short term gains and losses etc. be includable? Thanks in advance.

Hiya 🙂 Sorry I had not logged in for a while. Busy trying to finish the Rogers lectures by the end of this week leaving me two weeks of Review and lots of work on practicing questions.

Feeling a bit overloaded with information. Really Glad I have two days off this week so I can really focus and study 🙂

I am using Wileys test bank and Gleim. So the question I posted up was from Gleim. I will post more up as I go along reviewing the test bank and trying to get as much as possible done in terms of practice before the exam.

Hey Ninjas, quick question for those of you studying with Roger. I checked his website for REG updates and there is the 2013 Update due to the American Taxpayer Relief Act in 2012…but i've noticed from listening to Jeff's Audio notes that these are not fully updated!

For example Medical Expenses according to Roger is still in excess of 7.5% but from Ninja i know it changed to 10%. Who knows what other changes haven't been made.

Is there a summary page showing all the changes made in the latter half of 2013 so I can go through Roger's book and make the changes myself? I am going to get very confused when working Roger's class questions and the Wiley Homework questions if i don't know the changes.

I know the Test Bank has been updated (thank god) – Honestly though…of course people are going to fail REG if they don't know the changes that are missing, they would be using the wrong figures in the exam by no fault of their own.
