CPAwanabe You can do this!! Gosh, that's a lot of work while expecting. You give me hope!

Moved my exam to Sunday – I got a little panicky with the testing experience postings. I'm still not real good on the whole Commercial paper, surety and some agency stuff. I am going to pass the exam this time. I'm NOT doing this again. It's interesting how isolating it sometimes feels when family and friends say “Just take the exam!” like I am trying to clean up a room. It's hard to explain to them that I am not only cleaning a room but I am trying to remember every object in the room and its placement!! I can understand their view too, it's nice to be missed, and it's certainly not like I'm enjoying this whole process.

Ok, on to more studies and note cards!! Wahoo!!

I really hate REG. To me, this is by far the hardest of the 4 exams. AUD and BEC were like a joke compared to this… Even FAR wasn't this bad for me. So many rules and sub-rules and exceptions!!

I got a 71 in May and I feel like I'm a stronger, but every once in a while I will take a practice set of MCQ's or sims that just kick my behind all over the joint. So frustrated!!!

    thanks for reading 🙂

@ insiyah24, Sorry I took the weekend off. I have not scheduled yet I am planning on getting the material this week and then see how fast I can go through it all before I can commit. I might just try to get prepared by August 31, thats a stretch. I know for sure I don't want to wait another two months. What are you using for review?

    Hiya Kevin,

Thats okay 🙂 I wanted to get more done this weekend for REG but ….. “husband” had DIY plans for me to help him with 🙁

I am using RogersCPA, Wiley test bank, and Gleim Test bank. I also have the Ninja Notes and MP3 Audio.

Just finished Chapter Two In Rogers.. thats all the Securities Act, Ethics, professional and legal responsibilities blah blah…. I can so say soo far… I am doing crap on Module 24 of the Wiley home book (Securities Act) I need to review it again later on.

Chapter one of Rogers was Individual taxes.. I get it in the lectures but for some reason i turned super dumb when doing the Homework questions in Wiley..

Well I figured I should so all the lectures.. get all the home work done first time even if i do a crap job in them. Then turn around do my notes, re-do the homework book and the test banks at the same time to prepare for the exam.

I learn better by doing the questions getting things wrong and then figuring out why its wrong….

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

I have used Becker lectures and MCQs in the past and it has worked fine without having to get anything for the SIMs. I feel that the tests have been geared to test the concepts and its the portion of the test that targets takers that have mastered the tricks of MCQ but havent mastered the concepts. Since I've worked in the field for a couple of years it has helped in the application of those concepts. I however do mostly audits so REG might be a challenge

I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. If I take REG at the beginning of October and I do not pass, am I allowed to take it again before the end of November? Thanks!

    AUD: Attempt 1: 60; Attempt 2: 78
    BEC: Attempt 1: 75 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 80
    FAR: Attempt 1: 74; Attempt 2: 74; Attempt 3: 78
    REG: Attempt 1: 76 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 68; Attempt 3: 80

    Finished 11/01/2013!!!
