I am taking Reg tomorrow and was wondering if we can use the authoritative literature to answer the sims ? Any experience with that ? Also , I have not put in much effort for the business law part. Is it heavily tested ?

Question : Regulation D Rule 506 ….Unlimited $$$$ & unlimited accredited investors + “new rule” can now solicit & advertise to “accredited” investors ….what happens to the 35 unaccredited investors that must be sophisticated ?????

We all have the ability to be whomever we want to be in this life. It's just a matter of DETERMINATION, PERSISTENCE, PATIENCE and the WILL to follow through. Never give up!

Can anyone explain to me about life insurance proceeds and premiums for businesses? A few distinctions I'm confused on:

    1) When business is the beneficiary vs. employee as the beneficiary, what is taxable and deductible?

    2) What does financial accounting do since I've seen some questions wanting you to convert it?

Popping into here to say hello, just started studying for Regulation. Since I am in public accounting I figure the tax information won't be too new for me, going to focus 2 weeks on Business Law (Which I hate) and spend 1 week on taxation, then follow that up with 2 weeks of review.

    Good luck everyone!

    AUD - Jan 9,13 Pass
    REG - Aug 30,13 Pass
    BEC - Oct 26,13 Pass
    FAR - Dec 4,13 Pass

Licensed CPA in the state of Oregon
