I agree Myeble waiting a month to find out is terrible!!! I am hoping cramming for the past month with only 2 weeks off in between taking the test in May and finding out I got a 74 is enough time to earn that extra point. I am glad I hopped on here today, I completely forgot the 2013 figures would be implemented, guess with a week to go I will be spending my time learning all the new amounts. I can't push it back though I need to get started on FAR as soon as i take REG next week.

Another question for you all regarding the updates in information for 2013. I know 179 was one change to note… what are your thoughts on gifts changing from 13k to 14k and the medical exemption from 7.5% to 10% unless you are over 65?

Just took a Wiley practice test…got an 80 – BUT, anyone know how to review practice exams? The test bank practice sessions are available to review under the My Assessments tab, but the exam isn't there. Can anyone help? Do I have to sync and then go to Wiley.com?

@Wendy – I have the ninja notes. Regarding business bad debt expense, it's only deductible for an accrual basis taxpayer if they use the direct write-off method. A simple increase in the allowance isn't deductible (according to Wiley) – make sense?

@Wendy – You can only deduct bad debts that actually became totally or partially worthless – if you are an accrual tax payer. If you are a cash basis tax payer, you cannot deduct bad debts – which makes sense as you never recorded the income because you never received the cash payment! I don't have Jeff's notes, but I think that it was he is trying to convey. If you are cash – you cannot deduct bad debt expense. If you are accrual, you can deduct bad debt expense but only the actual amount that became worthless and was written off.

Today I woke up exhausted and did not want to have to sit down and finish my homework and move on. Its not exciting on third time around – Does anyone have any ideas on how to control text Anxiety? That is my big downfall. I have never been a good test taker. Any ideas? Any help would help!!!
