Wouldn't a HIGHER risk of incorrect acceptance require a LARGER sample?

I used becker 2011 updated to 2012 . It has only 7 chapter. New material include chapter 8. Is this a new content ? I don't want to purchase a new one. it's quite expensive. where can i find this supplemental reading ?

The CARES exemption says that one of the requirements is that the child must be under 19 or 24 if a full time student. Does that include the ages of 19 and 24 or is it 18 and under and 23 and under?

I just got a question in Wiley (I wish I can copy and paste), that's asking me to calculate the depreciate using MACRS on property placed into service during the last quarter of the year. Since it's the only property purchased in the year, it would use the mid-quarter convention. But the question isn't providing a depreciating chart. Do I have to know how to calculate this without the chart and if so, can someone provide some calculations?

    mrsbing,

you should be able to calculate it. think about how many years the property depreciates and then apply the mid-quarter convention. you don't need a table.

    nami,

chapter 8 in becker is on business structures and other law topics (dodd-frank, copyrights, antitrust). you could find info on business structures on the internet or in books at the local library.
