    @Mikecuh To give your an idea about SIMS, know how to calculate tax in different EVENTs (formation, operation, distribution, liquidation), e.g. what's taxable and what's not. Know different kinds of income, e.g. ordinary vs. passive vs. portfolio etc.

    And I believe it's more important to grasp the big picture before going too much into detail.

    Is there a way to review old Becker progress tests? I was in the middle of reviewing one and my page closed out, now I can't get back to the test.

    There's quite of few concepts that I'm getting wrong doing Wiley MCQ's that Becker didn't touch on. This is so frustruating, I'm taking so many notes. It's a good thing I supplemented.

    I hope I don't get a corporate AMT SIM. Does anyone know where I can see some examples of some corporate AMT calculations?

    Also, can someone explain what the AMT NOL Deduction is? I thought any AMT NOL's were only applied to regular tax, not AMT.

    I wish I could help but I am just skipping over AMTs for both individuals and corp praying its not going to be on my test….

    we shall see..

    I am just so overwhelmed with amount of material I gotta still cover in six days.

    just completed the lectures of unit 1…. understood nothing….it is going to be a tough one …i know it already…it is all memory … no concepts at all..don't know how to get thru this…
