Hey guys! Long time reader, but this is my first post! It has been a joy reading everyone's journey and figured I would get in on the “fun”. I am taking REG on the 25th, and to be honest…I am freaking out! I probably should only be worried about the 25th, but I can help think ahead, because I have 2 more opportunities before I lose AUD. I guess I am freaking out because my scores haven't been the highest and from what I hear REG is a beast! I am using Becker, Ninja Notes, and WileyTest Bank. Is that sufficient or should I been using anything else? Anyways, I look forward to hearing from everyone!

    BEC-74 (kill me), 75

    Hiya Krater,

I would say yes what you have is sufficient to practice for the exam. I am using Gleim's testbank as i don't have Becker. Good Luck!

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

@insiyah24 Do you find the Gleim TB better than Wiley? Or do you think that using the Wiley Testbank is sufficient enough. Also are there questions mostly the same? Since i'm re-taking REG i am bypassing the Wiley textbook questions and only doing the testbank questions so to get additional practice i'm considering of an additional testbank to supplement.

@insiyah, I see that you said you're using gleim. How do you feel about their simulations?? I find them to definitely be tougher than Becker and usually don't do that great on them. Scores range anywhere from 55-75. What's your experience been like?

@Jam05…I'm also using 2012 Becker material. Honestly, I think the main numbers that have changed that you should focus on are Section 179 (500,000 max reduced dollar for dollar if over 2,000,000 which is up from 125,000 and 500,000), 10% of AGI for medical deduction instead of 7.5% unless you are 65 or older (then it remains at 7.5%), gift tax exclusion up to $14,000 from $13,000 per person.

These are the main ones that I have been focused on. Does anyone else have big ones that they think we should know?
