HustlinHustlinMemberAlright team, I'm done with busy season and back on board….where to start is always my biggest issue,
Anyone using the Wiley book have a day by day plan? I want to break it down by module to make sure I don't spin my wheels on one part.
B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
R 65 - 48 - 45
F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Wiley Text and Ninja Notes
"The fish who keeps on swimming is the first to chill upstream" -311
Experience - Done, like WAAAY done.
Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)December 6, 2013 at 10:15 pm #486056

KenadaMemberI am using the Wiley book but I don't have a day by day plan.
What I am doing is ready each chapter and then tackling the homework questions. Then I write my notes and move on to the next chapter.
I have rogerscpa so he has a nice study plan calendar that I am following. Here is a sample – you can create your own version in excel and spread out the topics depending on how many weeks you have to sit the exam.

NYCaccountantParticipantWhat is your average the first time through a section? I am getting around 75ish for the tax stuff, although I have no tax experience and am just learning this stuff. Should I be concerned with the low scores?
FAR - 93
REG - 87
BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.December 6, 2013 at 10:45 pm #486062

KenadaMemberMy first time I was actually getting 70% when i did it the second time thats when i was closer to 80%.
So I would not be too concerned how much you get the first time. more are you understanding why you got it wrong and why that other options was right. Its all about learning the concepts and getting your mind to click. 🙂

mjp44MemberJust started studying for REG with the plan of taking the test in late FEB. Using Becker for the first time and currently going through R1. Im a little worried because I only took a Tax I class, which only covered individual tax. All that material is covered in the first 2 chapters of the book which Gearty is just steamrolling through.
Can anyone who has taken this test before give any additional pointers as to how to study for this section (specifically the tax portions)?
Lets take this section down next window!
FAR- PASSED (11/13)
REG- PASSED (2/14)
BEC- PASSED (5/14)
AUD- PASSED (8/14)If it's important to you, you will find a way. If it isn't, you will find an excuse.

teeteenounoucheMember@mjp44, I suggest doing as many MCQ and SIMs you can in real time so that you really know if you understand the rules and are able to keep the same pace you would need to have for exam day, the second testlet is a killer so you need to be able to answer the questions quickly to have enough time for the SIMs…I will be adding this to my re-study plan for the next 4 weeks
