@ michaelabs22 – I have started to study 🙂 I would rather start now knowing we have so many holidays coming up so I can have a contingency plan in place that i can “catch up” if there are unforeseen down times 🙂

@ NYCaccountant – cool we are around the same time too.

I hope everyone can stay proactive on the group – it will be great if we can bounce off each others strong areas and help those that are weak in it and vice versa.

I for some have issues with Corp Tax and Property transaction…

Some how I managed to do well in Business law and God only knows how as its such a bunch of legal mambo jambo.

I've just hit the tax aspect. Ummm the maximums and thresholds in the Wiley book are for 2012, not 2013. I sit for the exam in January and am concerned. Any advice?

You will need to make sure you have the updates for July 2013 onwards. Do you just have Wiley ? I am sure they should have updates on new limitations and thresholds.

Note REG updates every JULY so just now the changes from July 2013 are still in effect until June 2014.

This is from the becker website which is open to the public as I just Googled it and found it.

It covers all the updates you need to know for the Jan 2014 exam. You can help supplement this with your Wiley book easily.

Pri: Yes i am using Becker as well! I believe i have the 2012 versions so definitely have to be careful with the updates.
