So Far, I used Becker and Wiley. This is my third attempt. For simulation- Especially Individual taxation, The question on the actual exam is harder and more complicated than the Becker. Basically, i felt like they didn’t ask you to calculate one step, but they rather mix with other topics i.e estate / trust. Any Advise on material or how do you do this?

Hi! I'm studying for my 1st go with Regulation on May 30th. I'm using the Wiley book, WTB, and ninja notes. The Wiley book is sooooo overwhelming, so I'm with you on trying to determine HOW to study?!?! does anyone out there (that passed Reg) have any advise for us?!?!

I am on my first attempt as well. But I plan to attack this like the other tests, just one thing at a time. The whole test is overwhelming- so take things one step at a time. I have Becker online materials, and Ninja 10 pt combo (so also Ninja notes and audio and WTB). I also got the new Ninja question bank- have not looked at it yet.

This week I have focused on Chapter 1 in Becker. I had previously started studying for this, but busy season took over and couldn't finish. So I already listened to the lectures. This week I went back through Becker homework and reread my notes. I worked through WTB for individuals last night. Today and tomorrow I am going back over specific concepts that were shakey on my understanding. I am starting with Employee stock options tonight.
