Hey guys –

Has anyone found a good way to improve on REG simulations? I am nailing the multiple choice, but can’t seem to improve on the sims enough to pass. I have failed REG 3 times now. Any advice would be beneficial. Thanks

I think that I am going to get a cram course. I can't stand Peter olinto and he teaches business law and that was my only weak area ( still stun about that because I usually score well on my progress test in this area)

@gotta – Geez, it's really tough to give advice on Reg sims since they could test on any random topic. What helped me the most was just doing a ton of the practice sims in the Wiley software. A lot of people say just focus on the multiple choice, but I think it's important to spend time on the simulations as well. They really make you think outside the box and apply the concepts in a different way than the multiple choice. I haven't tried any of the cram courses, but have heard mostly positive things about them.

yeah I think that is where I messed up as well I really did not practice the sims because I know that for FAR they were pretty pointless. Well will see in 2012 if my new way for REG actually works out for me!

Everyone,

Becker and Wiley have different sim research database(format). Which one is more like on the real exam? I am starting to get nervous for sim… Any tips?

@ToCPA2011, Becker's resembles the actual exam. Wiley's research database is terrible… I do love Wiley MCQs though!
