I am doing okay with MCQ (80% average) in Wiley, but I do awful in the sims they have. Are they a lot harder than the ones on the exams, or are the exam sims THAT difficult/lengthy? How did other people who struggled with them get better at them? I’m buying the ninja MCQ next week to cram before exam day, will those sims help me?

The SIMS on REG can definitely be difficult. I had a very hard time with them on my first REG attempt but I had my retake this past Saturday and did much better. It just took a lot of practice to start getting more comfortable with them. Keep drilling the SIMS until you start getting the hang of it and don't get discouraged by low scores. Read the problem a few times to make sure you understand it fully and write out what the question is asking for in your own words, and maybe write down separately information in the problem that is meant to trip you up so you don't forget and accidentally include it in your calculations. Also, for the practice SIMS where you are filling out part of an actual tax form at the bottom, you should replicate the form on your scratch paper so you can consolidate all of your figures into the appropriate lines on the form and so you don't accidentally miss something.

Hate to scare you, but the exam sims are harder than Wiley. I signed up for their free trial last week and went through all of them. They have some tough ones, but you probably won't get any with a dropdown menu of answers to choose from. Ninja doesn't have good sims, but their mcq's are great for REG. I was weaker on sims for my first attempt and have been putting a lot of attention towards them this time.
