Anybody that has Becker, how are you approaching the actual tax form documents listed throughout the chapters? Is this something to study and know, or is more of an FYI type of thing. So far I’ve just been glancing over them and just getting the littlest bit familiar.

Anybody have a suggestion how to go about this?

    Thanks!

well, at the expense of disclosing to much, I will tell you this – those forms are there for a reason and you would be wise to know them.

    B -
    A - passed
    R - passed
    F - passed

I wouldn't waste time memorizing all the forms. I would focus on the concepts of how those forms are derived. All the Taxation material does is break down the Tax Forms you see into a word format for you to understand better.

I would pay special close attention to K-1/K-2 Partnership Pass-through items as well as the M-1 Reconciliation from Book to Tax. Otherwise, just briefly look over tax forms.

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

I definitely think you should print out each of the tax forms as you study that section. It makes so much more sense when they are talking about what flows to the schduel K versus the K-1 and where the deductions go etc. when you actually have the form printed out and see the flow of everything.

It just puts it all together in visual form. It helped me a lot and I think was part of what helped me finally pass REG.

Don't waste your time memorizing tax forms. The only thing they're useful for is understanding the flow of information. I agree with what @inferno said to pay attention to. Definitely know your K-1

AUD: PASSED [81]; Expired, retaking August 23rd
BEC: PASSED [83]; Expired, retaking July 11th
    REG: PASSED [83]
FAR: FAILED [64]; Retaking May 23rd
