    Hi all,

    I am currently studying for a REG exam.
    I am an international student and therefore, am not that familiar with
    different schedules (A, B, C, C-EZ, etc.) and forms (1040, 1041 and etc.)

    My concern is, should I be familiar with schedules and forms?
    If on the exam, AICPA asks like “Which form should this taxpayer file”,
    then I guess I have to memorize each forms and schedules.

    What are your word of advice?

    Thank you

    I think it is a good idea to know what purpose each form serves. Don't go crazy memorizing each form though. It's is a good idea to print each one out and be familiar with how it works. It will help you when answering MCQ and even solving simulations.

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    You don’t need to memorize but you do need to be familiar for sure. What each one is for and a general sense of how to fill it out.
