It’s about to get real again. REG scheduled for July 19th! This break has felt like no time at all, but my NTS expires 07/21 so I have to get back to it. I hope they don’t change the 20th day cutoff for the first wave of score relases in Q3. Good luck to everyone taking exams in May!!!

I have a quick question. I believe I read somewhere that the tax law for REG will be changed after 6/30. However, I was planning taking the test in the first few weeks of July. Will this be a problem? Will I actually be studying outdated material?

Starting in July (Q3), 2014 tax code will be tested. I wouldn't recommend studying old tax law.

Well, I was going to begin studying this week and take it the first week of July – would this mean that I'm studying all tax law?

I just purchased my study material from another71 – perhaps this has already been update to the 2014 tax law?

Hi NYC,

I know you are a very active member on this forum and you just scored a very high on REG. I am studying to retake for REG in July. I took it 2 times and it just slapped me again with a very low score 67. Last time, I focused a lot on tax and review multiples time Becker Course. I tried to change the method this time around. I will try to follow Ninja rules. Rewrite the note. I just ordered Gleim since lots of people advise that they focused lots of materials on details. I still plan to review the Becker Material. Just wonder do you have any advice to give to me for the retake? I am pretty certain that I spent lots of time on studying but it seems that the method does not work and I am confused on the way to approach this exam. Can you please give some tips on how you do it? Thank you so much.
