    Hi,

I looked at my score report and it said that I was weaker in SIMs and comparable in MC (Breakdown – Stronger in ethics & business law & 4 of the remaining tax sections were comparable). I studied using Roger & Ninja MCQ. Any advice how to best prepare for my next retake in order to pass? Thank you.

    AUD - 71, 72, 78
    BEC - 75

Well, I'm sure it has been said so many times, start over. Forget about last time. You'll still need a 75. You might what to try ninja study materials, very affordable and to the point. I started with cpaexcel :-/, it drove me nuts then came along the ninja notes and mcq's ( 10 point combo) so I don;t have the surprises of wiley, but I feel better in my study sessions with ninja. Why I haven't passed? I guess I need to put more into it, but others have passed so why not us. I say try ninja this time or use Jeff's method.

    It begins with a 75

Hi fruitsyrup, tncincy is right that you need to study the right things enough to pass.

Ninja MCQ forces you to answer questions in your weakest areas over and over, so you don't have to make your own judgment for “weak” spots (the software will tell you). I made the mistake of studying the “wrong” thing before exam, and I missed several points in other exams.

Also, it's okay to memorize things for REG. It's the only exam where you can regurgitate knowledge from your short-term memory and pass. Happy studying
