Anybody have a basic list of the most common IRS forms required to submit, and their deadline? I have had this question in the past on REG exams, wanting to be prepared for it the next go round. I am having a hard time finding a list from Google, maybe on of th experts on here help me out!

1120, 1120S, 1120HOA – Fifteenth Day of Third Month (March 15)

709, 1040, 1041, 1065 – Fifteenth Day of Fourth Month (April 15)

990 – Fifteenth Day of the Fifth Month (May 15)

Extensions are 6 months from the date the return is due.

i believe the extension for partnership is 5 months

Yes, anjanja and WeWillSee are both correct. 1065 and 1041 both have a 5 month extension. The reason for this is that they are flow through entities which issue K-1s that are needed to be able to file an individual 1040 return. If they were a 6 month extension like all of the other ones, then people wouldn't be able to file their 1040s on time. I very highly doubt you'll be tested on this though.
