Hi guys, I just wrapped up my practice exam for REG. I got a 49. That was mainly due to the SIM’s being legit all the areas I had difficulty with. My MCQ’s weren’t awful, though (66% and 63%). My test is on Thursday. Is there anything I can do to save my own hide for this exam? Thanks in advance!

Do you have the option of rescheduling so you can have time to bring your scores up?

@Nikki374 unfortunately not I used PTO from work to take this.

I took the exam last Friday.

Make sure you know how to calculate Basis for all the various entities, and to my surprise there were many questions on Circ. 230.

I did poorly on the practice exams too for REG, I got a 56. Look at the score report and try to hammer down on the topics you were weak in. Also, the general rule of thumb is practice exams are much harder than what you will see on test day. My actual score on REG is proof.

@MISConnie how did you go about reviewing the weak topics? Just doing the MCQ's?

Keep hammering MCQ's and check out the sims from the AICPA practice test. Or reschedule. You could try to reschedule for a Saturday?
