Hello. Does anyone know how extensive the area on Personal Holding Companies and Accumulated Earnings Tax is? Or if it’s even tested? My Becker review doesn’t go into this area too much, but I am doing multiple choice questions from the Wiley CPA Exam Review and there’s about 20 questions in Module 28: Corporate Taxation with regards to this area. I am trying to focus my attention on the areas that are more commonly tested. Any tips or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The cpa exam can ask you any question, nobody can tell you what is important and what is not. Each test is different, prepare to pass with a 75…

Thanks! I actually don't see this listed in the CSO. I am going to set it aside and come back to this area later if there's any time for me to do so.

Nothing is “most commonly tested”. I have taken sections where multiple major topics were not tested and a few minor things were extensively tested.

As mentioned, everything is fair game.

    Reg - 2/24/12 passed
    BEC - 4/3/12 passed
    FAR - round 2 7/1/12 passed
    AUD - round 2 11/01/12

    Using Becker, wiley, and NINJA.
