Check out the AICPA Sample Test. There is a resources tab for MACRS depreciation rates. For instance, computers and some light trucks have a 5-year depreciation period.

P.S. Is it true that you passed all 3 other sections and got 4 “74s” on REG in a row?

depreciation for a partnership is almost identical to a regular c corp. however, if they elect special depreciation, such as bonus or sec 179, it needs to be seperately stated apart from normal income because of the special nature and individualistic restrictions.

    zi007ad,

I have a friend who took REG 5 times, and on his sixth time, I told him to do the following.

You need to identify your weak areas. There should be 2 or 3 big areas that you are not mastering. Once you have that information, buy the Hot spot dvds from Bisk CPA. They have video lectures that target a specific topic like Partnerships,S-corps,commercial paper, etc. My friend went from 74 to 85 doing this in 5 weeks. The reason why I knew this could help him is because it helped me on Governmental and not for profit.

    Good luck,
