    I feel like i forgot everything… I haven’t read every word in the wiley book but i worked all MCQs for taxes and SIMS for individual taxation a while ago & i understood them from the explanation….. i wasted my time on business law (read all chaps) the last 4 days and worked MCQs as well

    Now I am planning on reading the Ninja Notes and working the WTB MCQs for all of the taxation topics till it’s time….

    Anyone has any advice? what is the exam going to be like? what should i focus on? I haven’t read anything on S corporations though (Not yet), planning to read it on the plane :/

    I NEEEEED to pass or else all my plans (including studying for the GMAT and applying for Grad school) by 30 june would be delayed :’)

    & Good luck to all

    FAR: 77 (1st attempt)
    AUD: 89 (1st attempt)
    BEC: 80 (1st attempt)
    REG: 80 (1st attempt)

    I am scheduled for May 30 for Reg

    Choice 1. If you really feel unprepared reschedule the exam to May 30th.

    Choice 2. Continue with your Tax review. Don't Panic, just study. If you reviewed businees law already and can finish Tax as you mentioned in the post, I think you are in good shape for the exam.

    This forgetting Is what I feel too. I guess the only solution is too keep on reading and reviewing.

    Good luck. Please post back after you come back from the exam.

    We are taking the exam on the same day. That's good karma! Im focusing on a bunch of mcqs to condition myself for Wednesday, as well as, reviewing flashcards I made. Tomorrow: I'll review my weak areas. Monday: I'll do heavy mcqs and flashcards again. Tuesday: I will take it easy

    Done: 5/22/14

    I try not to get worked up. Maybe a few multiple choice questions. I like to sit back and mentally prepare myself. Then come gameday, leave it all on the field.

    @h0wdyus Thank you! good luck on your exam! you have till the 30th to prepare well enough. Keep doing MCQs over and over and understand why the choices were wrong and why they were right, specially for taxation. doing this helped me for FAR & AUD. I think you may find the “Cpareviewforfree”slides a bit helpful as well… and i will post back when i get it over with..

    @MikeHoncho
    Yeah that's cool and i have this feeling that you will pass… best of luck!

    @golfball7773
    I recommend that you read the material from Ninja notes. I started today with Corporate taxation (read the notes first) and now i'm more than half way through the WTB MCQs and after i read the notes a couple of times, everything is making sense, specially the “Special tax treatment” items and the nature of pass through entities (like S corporations) and I didn't read anything about S corporations from the book but i feel like i understood the concept from the notes & the questions

    I'm a bit panicked as well. I have REG in 4 days. I completed all of Becker and now I'm almost done with NINJA MCQs. I've been doing mini practice quizzes to keep myself sharp on certain subjects. I think that's kind of what you have to keep doing as you learn new material.

    If I fail, business law will be my downfall. I've done tons of MCQs and reviewed notes, but I can't seem to score any better than 60-70 (if that sometimes) on b-law. My brain is fried and I feel overwhelmed when doing the questions!

    You have plenty of time before your exam. Just stay focused.

    Passed all sections.

    Hey y'all, I know I'm late to this party but just wanted to say good luck on REG. Looks like most of you have taken sections before, but I'll drop my (lengthy) two cents of advice in:

    #1: focus on the basics of the tax material. You're more likely to see basic concepts than advanced items/exceptions. Your first packet won't be a “hard” one, and if you're borderline on passing you'll likely be getting fewer difficult questions on average. So, since you're short on time I would absolutely prioritize the stuff you're more likely to encounter.

    #2: if you get a particularly nasty sim, relax and smile! They didn't expect you to memorize the rules, so just look it up and take those points!

    #3: our elementary school teachers were onto something. Just believe in yourself and stay positive. If you psych yourself out early, it will be very difficult to pick out the “not” / “except” in the question and you deserve those points! Don't let a modifier keep you from passing this thing by a few questions!

    #3(b): if you haven't studied thoroughly, mindset is extremely important. Therefore, YOU GOT THIS! Just before you walk in, listen to this song in it's entirety (NSFW) and you'll be ready to go OFF! I've done it on all four of my exams and it gets me ready to slaughter any section! I would say that it's not for everyone, but it is.

    #4: get off of here and go study until your exam!! You already knew this one… Haha

    REG - 2/4/14 - 94
    BEC - 2/27/14 - 93
    FAR - 4/14/14 - 95
    AUD - 5/12/14 - 96

    "Overstudying" = take the test once. (Becker only)
