Did anyone who took REG in this window, feel like they were prepared with the study materials they used? If so, what materials did you use? I’m studying with Becker and after reading the posts, i’m wondering if I should supplement with something else. It sounds like there were a lot of surprises on the exam using Becker…

I’m taking REG on Dec. 6th.

    Thanks!

I believe there will be suprises on the exam no mattter what review course you use. It seems that if your exam is December 6th it is kind of late in the game to switch totally at this point. Maybe supplements such as the NINJA system would be benficial to you.

If you aren't satisified with your results after the exam, then maybe switch.

@ampackwood : I used Becker for my BEC section ( borrowed book from my friend) and passed with 84 with minimal effort. I am not a theory kid of person so remembering massive amount of information without seeing their application while doing MCQ or Sims doesn't work well with me.

I also supplemented my study with the Wiley test bank. When you go through Wiley you might feel certain questions are similar to those in Becker but they are worded differently. The key according to me is to do non-stop MCQ's so that most concepts become second nature to you. Make sure you know every concept on Final Review of Becker.

I am currently slated to take REG on 11/17/2012. Good Luck to you.

    BEC: Passed ( 84)

    AUD: Waiting Result (10/05/2012)

    REG: 11/17/2012

    FAR: 12/08/2012

    BEC: Passed(84)
    AUD: Waiting for results (10/05)
    REG: 11/17/2012
    FAR: 12/08/2012

I'm also on the same boat. I studying using Becker 2012 and taking the exam in one week. I have looked at some sample Yeager/Wiley videos online for REG and they seem to cover it a lot more in depth. At this stage, its a bit late to switch materials, but if I fail, I will have to supplement my REG studying with Wiley.

    Journey begins in July 2012.

    FAR - 87 (8/7/2012)
    REG - 89 (11/19/2012)
    AUD - 95 (1/17/2013)
    BEC - 81 (2/26/2013)

I am using Roger and I definitely recommend him but I do think that it would be a waste for you to buy another review course at this point. Becker is a premium course and it should have covered what you need to know. Another review course is going to set you back at least 30 hours that you could have spent practicing which in my opinion is so much more valuable than additional lecture. If you feel like you need a boost you can get a supplement like Wiley test bank, a test bank app, notes, flashcards, audio etc . . . There are lots of options under $100 It seems like most people on here that use Becker also supplement with the Wiley test bank.
