How did you guys make REG notes while reading the book without re-writing the whole book?

I am taking notes while I read and it’s taking an awfully long time. I feel like I am writing down almost everything from the book. It takes me 20-25 minutes per 3-5 pages.

Should I just buy NINJA REG NOTES and re-write those while I read the book? How did you guys do it?

I don't take notes while watching lectures. I focus on the lecture. I make mental notes of areas I don't understand, and go back and read the text after. When I am done the lecture I write out the ninja notes.

I do not take notes while I am watching lectures. I jump to MCQs right away and if I get the answer wrong then I go back to the book and take notes on the sections that I didn't remember or didn't understand.
I use Becker. I did buy Ninja audio that is proving to be very helpful. I listen to the Ninja audio on my way to and from work (I have a 30 min commute each way). They are short, cover major points and are very easy to absorb.
