REG – No Lectures

I take AUD this Saturday, I’m feeling confident I’ll pass. My last test will be REG but here’s the thing. RogerCPA expires tomorrow so that means I’ll lose lectures. Do you think I’ll be okay without the REG lectures?
    .
I’ve been out of college for 4.5 years, my college severely under taught tax. Or do you guys recommend I buy REG with a review program? I do have the text, and ninja. Does ninja have updated lectures for the new tax reform?

Can't you extend Roger's course pretty cheaply? If so, I would do that so that you go into it with a full arsenal. Otherwise, you will probably be ok with just Ninja and the books, assuming you don't need someone explaining every concept to you in order to learn well.

Just googled it – if you have the 18 month course, you can extend for $100 if you do so before it expires.

I had zero REG experience going into it. I've never been more confused with some of the legal concepts they cover and found the lectures helpful in that regard. If you already have ninja, maybe start with their material and extend Roger if you feel you need more.

If you've been out for 4.5 years doing tax work, you might be ok.
Otherwise I'd suggest you extend. REG isn't Roger's strongest suit, but the lectures really help to make it stick.
I crammed all the lectures, and then hammered on the MCQs. So many tricky details and twists in the tax code.

I screwed up with Roger, because I bought a 24 month access package but wasn't studying. I e-mailed them and they won't allow me to extend, it's only for their 18 month package they said. Infuriating considering they now do unlimited access. But from what I'm gathering, lectures are needed. I might buy Becker's Reg package. I want to be solid on this last test, get the CPA and never look back. If anyone can vouch for a solid lecture program for REG, please let me know.

I passed with an 81 using only Ninja audio, MCQ and videos. Jeff covers everything you need for the new tax law changes.

I've heard a lot about people skipping REG lectures in Becker to just read for time saving. I just started, work full time, and sit December 9th. Has anyone had luck with this?

I thought the REG lectures were the best of all the Becker videos. This is just me, but I wouldn't go in without the benefit of lectures, and I have some experience in public tax.
