Hi guys,

I am taking REG next week and I was wondering what would you say the top 3 things to review would be? Should I review the tax sims in Becker or review business law more? Any tips would be very helpful.

I agree that everything is very important…literally ANYTHING can show up. But since I just took (or bombed) my exam yesterday, and in an effort to try to be helpful, my top 3 would be:

Entity taxation

Property tax

Business law

AUD: 84
FAR: 75
BEC: 78
REG: 75

Thanks for the information! I am taking it next week as well (28th). I had the hardest times with Chapter 3 and 4 (Becker). I believe those will definitely be tested. The homework indicates it as well since there are so many homework problems alone for entity taxation, property taxation, and a lot of determining basis and gain/loss questions. Sad thing is I am still studying. I haven't gotten to the b-law section yet. I am hoping, I can knock those out easy. Good luck to everyone taking it!!

I would know ethics inside and out as well. Its easy material but you'll get very detailed questions on the exam (at least I did anyways).

I focused too much time on tax due to the complexity of the material. I understudied business law, but fixed that on the second go-round. Don't overlook law!

Thanks guys! I am running very short on time (work has been crazy). I have not fully covered all of the Business Law topics. At this point, I am not sure if I should just take it or just postpone it until April?? Is there still hope to pass if I didn't cover all of the Business Law topics?
