REG – need advice

So I have about 3.5 weeks to prepare for REG. I have some background in tax, just completed an individual taxation course. I am using CPAexcel. I am sticking to the book as I find the lectures too long and tedious to get through. Many friends of mine have also struggled quite a bit with CPAexcel for REG. Basically what I have been doing is reading/highlighting, taking notes on a chapter, and do questions once I read and take notes for about 3 sections. Each day I also try to review material that I worked on three days prior.

I am finding that CPAexcel goes into an obnoxious amount of detail, stuff I can never imagine seeing on the actual exam. Since I am somewhat pressed for time, can anyone recommend a good supplement that will help me master the topics that are most important as I continue studying? I decided against WTB since the one good thing about CPAexcel is that it comes with around 1100 mcqs for REG. I am thinking Ninja notes or blitz videos. If you guys had to choose one of those, which would you use? I take very good notes from the CPAexcel book, so I am leaning toward the Blitz videos. Please let me know what you all think.

I have about 2 weeks left and I recently bought the NINJA notes to supplement Roger and WTB. I think they are a nice addition that help you refresh on a certain topic without going into too much detail. They help you recall the key info from each section.

    REG - 82
    AUD - 97
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 84
    DONE!

I am confused which one can I choose, Yeager or CPAexcel , for REG exam. I am going to assign 5-6 weeks to study. I didn't work on taxation other than taking courses. I used Yeager for FAR & AUD. Passed FAR in 2nd attempt and Waiting for AUD result. Regarding Yeager, I am not that much comfortable with Phil's way of explaining things. However, Cyndi was great. The REG part is thought by Phil..so, it's not gonna be my choice. However, I knew nothing bout CPAexcel regarding REG section.

    Any input, please. Thanks !!

CPAexcel is good as long as it is for anything besides FAR. CPAexcel goes way over the top with FAR. It is like an encyclopedia.
