REG in a week, first test

First test, first attempt and I’m terrified.

I started studying months ago (at the beginning of my last semester to get a head start), so I finished my course awhile ago and I’ve been hitting MCQs and studying notes and reviewing for weeks now. I hope that wasn’t a bad idea, but I think I’ve reviewed well enough for it to not be too stretched out.

In my CPAExcel practice MCQ tests I get 63-73%, with 79% being the highest. I’m starting to subconsciously memorize repeat questions, so I’m moving to focus on Wiley TB more now for the final week. Any thoughts on if those results are good enough?

I’ve read pages of horror stories on here about the REG Sims, so I will just prepare but not think too much about them and hope to ride the curve into my next section.

Another question: I’m taking the test the very first day of the July/Aug window- when would I expect to receive the score back? 3 weeks or more??

Hard to tell if those scores are good enough if you are memorizing answers. Do a practice set of 100 questions from the Wiley TB. If you can get around a 70% on that and you can complete it in under 2 hours, I think you would be good to go.

    AUD - 5/13 85
    REG - 7/13 73, 2/14 84
    FAR - 8/13 82
    BEC - 12/13 80

Ok I will do that. Also, to clarify those scores were without memorizing answers. Now I have stopped measuring my practice tests because of memorizing.

Here is the link for the score release schedule. You will most likely receive your score on Friday, August 2.

I am taking it the same day as you! Don't worry about the long month. It goes by fast when you're studying for the next exam…you won't even have time to worry about the one you just took! The day scores are released is a long day, though. Lots of refreshing the page haha I will be studying extra the day before, because I know I won't get any studying done the next day.

While memorizing answers isn't the best way to gauge where you stand, there HAVE been situations where people see questions on the actual exam that are Becker/Wiley/CPAExcel questions verbatim.
