Hey everyone,

How long did it take you to prepare to sit for REG? And if you already had tax background?

I have no tax background, besides the 3-4 courses I took during school. It took me about a month to prepare, 2 weeks of INTENSE nonstop studying at the end. However, I probably should have done more. It is hard to say because I don't have my score yet, but I definitely felt prepared in the exam, and that at some point I had seen most of the material while studying. I probably spent the most time just reading the chapters and absorbing the information, and a little less time on multiple choice questions than I did with FAR or AUD. There is just so much to memorize!
