Hey guys I just took REG back in August but I’m wondering if there have been any changes to the REG materials, aka standard deduction increases ect since August that have now come into effect. I am using Becker materials from 2012 and I have been seeing that the new medical expenses threshold is now 10% up from 7.5% is this true? Are there any other updates? Becker’s website is down and I take REG on Oct. 4.

So there's no difference now between regular medical AGI limitations and the AGI limitations on medical with AMT?

Schotime.

They are not going to test you whether its 7.5 or 10%. Just understand the flow and logic of how things flow through the return.

People stress out a lot about rates, standard deduction etc. They will not be tested

@ deanna I was wondering the same thing about the 10% medical limitation and that it is the same for the AMT. Are we correct in assuming this?
