I would schedule your final exam practice at least a few days before your actual exam. If you do poorly on the final, at least you'll have time to go back and focus on your weak areas. Most people would advise you never to take a practice exam (especially if you're using Becker!) the day before the exam. It'll kill your confidence.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

@ Keely … thanks for the response.

To be honest Keely… I did not do the practice exams AT ALL for BEC or AUD. In fact, I didn't even do the review properly… I don't want to sound overconfident… coz I am aware that REG/FAR are beasts vis-a-vis BEC/AUD.

I cannot reschedule my exam coz they will charge me $35.00 …. is it worth it?

    AUD: 07/19/2012 - Passed! 89
    BEC: 08/26/2012 - Passed! 85
    FAR: 11/08/2012
    REG: 01/07/2013

As someone who has taken BEC, AUD, and REG, yes it is DEFINITELY worth the $35 to reschedule and study properly. REG isn't much more difficult than BEC or AUD, but there's a lot of material and I think you will absolutely hate your life and find yourself studying 12 hours a day for those 20 days, then forget stuff on exam day. That is just my opinion though! I am not a crammer. Some people can do it, I just can't. I studied for 6 weeks for BEC, 7 for AUD, and 9 for REG, taking one lecture a week, and that is what works for me. I reread the book a whole lot throughout the studying process and that's my “review.”

I definitely don't think you NEED to do the practice exams, they don't really do much for you except tell you if you're in great shape or really bad shape. The 60-70 mark is an unknown. So, if you don't want to waste your time doing the practice exam, I wouldn't either. Good luck whatever you decide!

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

I think it is very possible based on my FAR experience. I studied for FAR in 5-6 weeks (last week didn't do much studying, more reading notes). I also worked 40 hours a week and went out a couple times on the weekends (after studying).

If you are using those 40 “work-hours” for studying, it is more than possible. You will get BURNT out, life will SUCK, but it will be worth it in 20 days.

It's definitely possible to pass REG in 20 days. I prepared for REG in 23 days and had all day to study, just like you. I could have taken it at day 20 and I think you can, too!

Like @Keely said, I'd take the Becker Exam(s) before the day before the test to give you an idea of what areas you need to focus on/study more before you take the real thing. That being said, I did poorly on my REG Becker tests and then ended up with a 90 on the real test. As such, I don't think they're necessary but I believe they're helpful. If anything, it's just more questions and simulations you haven't seen yet.

Good luck! You can do it if you stay on point.

    REG (5/31/12) - 90
    FAR (7/12/12) - 85
    AUD (8/23/12) - 91
    BEC (10/13/12) - 85
