I’m using Becker and they said the exam will rarely test us on numbers. I am wondering how important it is for me to memorize phaseout numbers for Single, MFJ, MFS, Head of Household, and Surviving Spouse.

Know a general ballpark number, not the actual number for each. I think Becker actually tells you when they ask a question where you need to know a phaseout, they'll most likely give you a number far below or above the actual phaseout. Hope that helps!
