    @Christina I came across this same issue. I emailed Becker and they confirmed that the Skills Practice was calculated wrong, and that they will fix it.

    Ok guys how are we doing today. It is very dreary outside, raining, and just a reason to take a nap. 🙁 I hope you all are studying hard, because I am not feeling it. I'll get it done though. The clock is ticking.

    Hey everyone, I'm back at it after a multi year break. I took AUD in March and felt good but came up a few points short. I was stronger on MC but weaker on Sims. I'm through 58% of the Recon phase and trending pretty well. Although I would've liked to take it earlier, my test is scheduled for May 22. Since my weakness is sims, I'm going to continue hitting those while mixing in MC. Good studying everyone!

    @23 Welcome, jump right in.

    @74phoenix
    I love your goals. I need to get more organized. I feel I am all over the place. my trending score is NOT moving! but I need to keep doing questions. Is it too late to go topic by topic? Well, I'm having trouble with property transactions and capital gains and losses (calculations). I'm just feeling anxious and all over the place.
    Starting my afternoon session. Help!!!

    Love the goals too, @74phoenix. Do you have an overall goal or are you focused more on the day to day? I admit to looking at other passing scores and wanting to better their numbers. A little competitiveness doesn't hurt, right?

    @Tncincy
    , it sounds like you're early in the recon phase. I wouldn't worry too much on trending (it'll come). More importantly, it's about learning from the incorrect answers. If it's anything like my studies, it's discouraging to get 4 or 5 of 10. But as long as we're learning why it's wrong, that's the key.

    @23 @tncincy I set my goals every day, though I should have had a general study plan set up a few weeks ago. I've been kinda winging it, which is definitely my fault. My trending score is not good…property transactions and partnership questions are my weakness. Yesterday I only did about 105 MC. I have not practiced SIMS in a while…I am going to create a study plan RIGHT now.

    Hey ninja's I'm starting my morning session. I'm a little late. Kinda sleep in. I think I'm still tired from tax season. Going over all the questions I got wrong. and then starting new sets. 100 goal today.

    You can do it! I went back to focus on partnership questions on Becker and am scoring higher and had to write down the basics again – partner basis vs liquidating basis or income realized or recognized vs nonliquidating basis… did 68 MCQ and now have 82MCQ for the day. Plus 2 hard SIMS!!

    Got through 120 MC yesterday, but my average took a hit. The MC were making me feel as though I'm not retaining this material well. I chose to look at it as lots of learning opportunities. That's why I like your specific goal of a hard sim(s), @74phoenix. It's those I dread because I'll get beat up a bit. But they are precisely the ones that will benefit the most. Study hard everyone!

    Have not started my study session today. probably this evening. Reading over the ones I got wrong. I printed them since I won't be at the office. I was sharing a computer with my daughter, but I know now that's a big mistake. I've printed enough from part three to get a better handle on Basis and holding period of Assets. I need that over night motivation. I think it's time to put in a few all nighters. The clock is ticking.
    @23 what do you mean by hard sims.

    @23 are you completing the sims trying to double down on the concepts? or just doing them to keep from being weak in them. My mind have not been on sims at all. I guess I should practice some of them.

    @Tncincy, by hard sims, I'm thinking of the ones I don't want to see on exam day. I might be able to BS my way to an answer on basis on 1 question, for example. But on a sim, you may need to fill in the answer given the facts, rather than pick the correct answer. To your question, I'm trying to reinforce the concepts and get used to seeing the information formatted differently. I have, for the most part, completely ignored the sims – much to my detriment. I got fortunate on a few tests (have passed AUD and BEC in the past) – AUD was 60/40 (MC/sims) then and BEC had no sims. I don't know the correct amount of time to practice sims, but please don't ignore them as I did.

    Ok so I am getting ready for my power study today, I'm not going to stress too much, but I am going to get in those mcq's today. 150. I am going to spend some more time on those questions I got wrong and I strongly need to get property transactions and capital gains down. (smh) I'm feeling anxious but I am going to get it done. I don't have work today so I can work on this all day today.

    Averaging over 100 MCQ everyday, but my score is still not high enough. I am afraid to practice SIMS……..isn't that crazy?

    My test is in a week….ahh….
