    Just took REG last weekend.
    and i would call this exam, “Ethic & Prof Responsibility exam”.
    I didn't expect that many of ethics questions.
    Many people said about many blaws, but for me, that was ethics (and gift tax)
    No QBI, AMT or phaseouts at all.

    did you guys have many calculation questions in MCQ?
    I didn't see many of them, does this mean MED-MED?
    It was a solid hard exam for me…(Sigh)

    @asdf – in my experience, if you thought the exam was easy – you probably failed. if you thought it was overall hard but not ripping you apart, you probably passed. but there's no sense in worrying now. enjoy the time off studying!

    @Ndunsmore
    Mid april for me, too! Let's do this!! Definitely post any questions you have and we can learn from each other.

    I also had very few calcs. in my 2nd testlet, maybe 5 questions? I'm mentally preparing myself for a retake. I feel like I might have passed because I definitely nailed 2 sims, but I read that the harder questions are weighed more so I'm back to dreading the score release. It'll be a miracle if I pass REG.

    I took REG last Friday and I thought the multiple choice was pretty similar to what I saw in my Becker material. What killed me was when I got to the Sims. Most of them I had to fill in the correct number and I didn't have very many that gave me multiple options to fill in the blanks. Anyone ever get destroyed by the sims and still pass? Wishful thinking for score release next week but with this test who knows what score you're going to get lol.

    Thank you!! 🙂

    @Ahugemistake

    Same here.. only handful calculation questions in both testlets.
    I was so overwhelmed by tons of Ethics/Responsibility questions which all the answer choices looked correct to me (haha), so I even thought SIMs seem better than MCQs.

    @Ahugemistake, You got this. I really hope I don't get many calculations. If I can read the questions and pick an answer would be wonderful. Hey, Congrats in advance. And keep those fingers crossed for the rest of us.

    I took the REG on the 10th. My second testlet had lots of blaw and ethics questions, which I had not spent much time on studying at all. But I did have quite a few calculations in the first testlet somehow including one QBI question. The simulations were challenging to me since I was just overwhelmed by how much information they gave you in each attachment. fingers crossed.

    Thanks @tncincy. which review course are you using? Do you have the Ninja Notes in Audio and PDF? I find those to be really helpful in times when I can't stand to look at the questions.

    @Ahugemistake I am using Ninja only. I go through the wavering with maybe I should try another program, but I am not looking anymore. I want to get this over with. Yes, I have the notes, book and audio. I'll get it together and pass.

    Hi Jenny,
    Have you review other source beside NINJA? I graduated Computer Science Major and Accounting Minor in 1997. I will take my first FAR exam sometime this summer. Any advise for me? Many thanks, Peter

    @Tncincy you got this! If I end up retaking this in April. My plan is to focus mostly on the tax side and use the Ninja Notes for the Business Law stuff. I need to really hammer down on forming and liquidating entities. I can't believe how stumped I felt on the exam with regards to some of those questions. I was just too burned out at the end to maintain focus and it totally screwed me up. Just anxiously awaiting the score release now.

    @Peter do you have any real world accounting experience? I haven't read the Ninja book but highly recommend the notes. I used Wiley and really like their software. People say that it's too detailed and it's true but it all comes down to your study style. I'd give Ninja a shot and follow their plan. It all comes down to understanding the concepts, and then no matter how tricky the questions are you can logically think through them.
