Thank you! and I understand not being in the right mind…I have been studying all hours of the night..I look like I've been locked in the attic haha…research questions are so stressful for me…its like the one question that you just should not get wrong but for some reason..I either find it right away or never..there is no in between UGH!!!

well, I just completed Becker Simulated Exam 1. Scored roughly a 71. Roughly a 67% on MC and a 76% on SIMS. Does anyone have a guess as to how much Becker exam results correlate to the actual exam?

@CPAhopeful – I'm assuming you know that taking a straight percentage will only give you a rough estimate since the actual exam is not graded like this. That being said, this is how I did on the first Becker REG exam:

That's nice to compare to. I did slightly worse than you but you scored an 85 so, that gives me hope of passing. How'd you feel about Becker preparing you for the exam?

@CPAhopeful – I thought Becker was a fantastic preparation for all four sections. You have to expect going into it that the SIMS are going to be challenging. I'm not sure there are any review courses that 100% prepare you for the SIMS. I scored Stronger in the multiple choice questions on all four exams, so I know Becker got the job done. Hope that helps ease your mind. good luck!

I am testing on the 30th and this forum has me terrified!! I too am using Becker and am getting between 85%-100% on every single Quiz and Progress Test that I take. Mind you, this is the first section this has happened. Normally I am in the 60%-70% range. So after reading everyone talk about how blown away they were by the exam, what am I missing?? Is Becker really that off?

@ SDPeedy..im testing tomorrow with Becker too…I'll let you know what I think…I passed BEC & FAR on the first try and hoping this will be the same…strangely this is the section I feel best prepared for but this site is scaring me =(

I heard from my friends about how Becker prepared them for the exams. Different people said different things. Some were able to pass by simply reading the textbooks and doing the hw. Some watched the lectures, read the textbooks, did the hw, and passed few parts and failed the others. Really dont know which side to take.

I'm preparing 2012 REG exam with 2010 Becker. With all the new tax law changes, will there be changes in 2012 exam? Should I still use the 2010 material for 2012 exam? Can anyone give me a suggestion? Thanks! Appreciate it!

Happy A~if you go to becker.com click on cpa review and at the top click on student resources tab..scroll down to updates and academic support and you can get all the updates there…since youre testing in the next window I might wait to see if there are any updates after the window closes..or at least keep checking back.
