    I'm counting down, with less than 48 hours until my REG exam on Monday. The biggest thing I've realized is that you don't know what you don't know, until you know what you didn't know. I have two days to tie up all the loose ends.

    Happy studying and good luck!!

    BEC: 75 11/8/10
    AUD: 89 2/22/11
    FAR: 78 5/17/11
    REG: 72, 83 10/17/11
    DONE!!!!

    @hurley

    sounds like you did well. I hope your results are like your Audit exam. Thanks for sharing your thoughts…I do agree that time is a factor on the sims. I am hoping to have more than an hour for them. They were tough last window.

    @whenindoubt

    Well said!! Really great observation. I am crossing my fingers that you don't have any computer malfunctions, I think that was a real stress to your focus. Best of luck! Let us know how it goes……

    Just took REG today. My 2nd MC testlet was ridiculously hard. Everything else I thought was okay. SIMS weren't bad at all w/ the help of the Research Tab! Hopefully I was able to dig out a 75 at least. It was kinda funny b/c I got to the test site early and was reading those Becker Pass Key boxes in my car as a last minute cram and definitely saw a question that I wouldn't have known had I not read those boxes right before the test. REG has been the worst to study for so far in my opinion.

    @yankeeaccountant,

    I'm kicking myself now. Over the course of my studies these past couple of weeks I came to realize that an area i thought i had a grasp on (one that was a simulation question for me) I, in fact, did not fully understand. As a result, I'm sure i missed that simulation. Oh how things could have been different if I knew that then. To live and learn!

    Am studying for REG now on my own. I checked out Ebay for study materials and there are some great deals on Yaeger courses – I guess as the year winds down. I think I'm going to buy one.

    AUD - 91 - Jul 2011
    BEC - 84 - Aug 2011
    REG - 82 - Nov 2011
    FAR - 86 - Feb 14, 2012

    @SHORTDESRTGUY,

    Whatever you decide, I wouldn't do it without some sort of “study guide”, if for nothing else but to give you an outline of the topics to concentrate on. If you're pretty familiar with applicable taxes and laws I think that would suffice. The Ninja notes might be pretty resourceful as well (to update where your material might be out of date). I think they are pretty inexpensive.

    Good luck!!

    I took REG today, and I think it went pretty well. The MC were far easier than I expected, but the simulations were ridiculous. I used Becker to prepare for the test and I really just focused on the MC questions and only reviewed the simulations a little. If I could go back I would study the simulations a lot more. My research question was very easy, but I had to guess way to much on the other sims. I had a hour and a half left when I started the sims and i finished up with plenty of time left. This was the first section I've taken, and I'm taking BEC at then end of November so we'll see what happens.

    REG - 71, Retake 1/2012
    BEC - 2/2012
    FAR - 4/2012
    AUD - 5/2012

    I had my rematch with the REG beast today. I finished with a couple of minutes to spare. Now I (hopefully) only have to wait until beginning of November-ish for my score. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I passed!!! I would say my exam was very similar to the exam from last testing period in terms of topics, etc.

    Good luck to those who've yet to test this period.

    I am hoping that you are done! At least for the timebeing you can rejoin society until the score comes out. Glad you didn't have any computer trouble!

    @Lauren

    I am worried most about the sims….they were brutal last window. I hope you get your first passing score!

    Overall, I feel like I did fairly well in R1-R4, and then I have hit a wall on R5 and R6. My scores have dropped on the homework considerably. I can't seem to keep anything straight. I am going to rewrite my notes on both these chapters, read the ninja notes, and review Yaeger notes and then go back in and try again. I need to wrap up these areas by Friday which is when I will start my final review process. I sit on Nov 1st…so 11 days of review. Hopefully it will work this time.

    Best of luck studying!

    Starting REG now. Looking at the materials and yawn. Not nearly as fun as FAR and AUD. So many concepts to know; however. Just not seeing the joy in REG. LOL

    AUD - Passed:)
    FAR - Passed:)
    REG - Retake TBD
    BEC - Missed by 3 points Retake TBD

    Taking REG on Thursday…I've been studying with Roger and Wiley and constantly going through problems now…any last minute advice? I'm worried about the SIMs and I'm feeling discouraged after my BEC exam….

    Hoping, wishing, and praying...

    FAR - not yet scheduled
    AUD- (2/28/12)
    REG- (10/27/11)
    BEC- 73 (8/11/11), (10/29/11)

    @needtopassthis: I'm taking REG next Thursday and I'm studying with Roger and Wiley as well. I passed REG last January with Becker but lost credit due to an untimely divorce lol. I decided to use Roger this time around, Becker is too boring in my opinion. The only thing I can suggest is know your tax rules inside and out. Know all of individual, corp, and estates and trusts. Don't feel discouraged about BEC, I had to take the stupid thing 3 times to get through it. Keep up the studying and doing problems.. and I can't say enough how important it is to know your tax rules!!!

    Did you use Roger for AUD? and did you pass?

    BEC: Done
    REG: Done
    AUD: Done
    FAR: Done

    I'M DONE!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Oh, and BTW.. I took the big step in leaving work to focus on these exams to knock them out… I really hope this risk pays off =/

    BEC: Done
    REG: Done
    AUD: Done
    FAR: Done

    I'M DONE!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
