well I hope you two get the exam but then again I don't even know if you would have really prepared for it! I wake up every morning PISSED because I can't believe that they made me study all those hrs just to say hey don't worry about it take the easiest exam EVER! can't wait to hear how it goes!

Does anyone know of a final review for Regulation in November? I have two chances left to pass Regulation after failing with a 69 this summer. I'm studying Becker again but it seems like I know the questions before i can read the answers from working them so much so I'm thinking about using Wiley as well. Any thoughts on that?

That is probably my biggest problem with Becker…I seem to memorize the mcq's so quickly! I am sitting Nov 1st for REG (second time) and I would say the Wiley testbank is great. I decided to do all the Wiley testbank mcq's first before I even look at Becker. In terms of a Final Review–not much help there. I don't have the Becker final review, I did purchase the Yaeger final review–which to me is just so so. I don't feel like Phil explains all the nuances as much as I feel he is reading out of the book. His lectures don't flow (imo). I know that Roger, Gleim, and CPAexcel might have something. I bought a Wiley review book on Amazon, it has the most recent AICPA questions. I am not crazy about working from a book, but I will do anything so that I can pass this time.

Does anyone else have trouble with the REG research questions? I had no problem on FAR and AUD, but I just can't find the answers to these. The search comes up with nothing it seems. I just did the first becker practice test and i literally looked for the answer for over 30 minutes and had to give up and not even put an answer down.

Well, took the REG section today. Good lord that was hard. Becker had really helped me out in the past sections I passed (AUD, FAR), but not too much help on this test. It felt like my Becker book was 3 years old (studied the 2011 edition). And that was all pre-Sim. Don't get me started on the SIMS.

I always though FAR would be the hardest to pass for me, but I was wrong.

Hopefully BEC goes better as I await for my REG results.

REG is a pisser!!! A beast in fact. Don't lose hope though, I heard plenty of people who felt terrible about their exam last window and then pass. And we are always more critical of our performance after the exam. Best of luck with BEC. At least this time around we won't have the long wait.

I took REG on October 1st, I know there is a new process in place to distribute grades unlike the last testing window. How long will it take to receive my score if I took it on October 1st under the new grade distribution system?

I keep meaning to do that with my schedule, but I am always playing catch up. I think it is a great idea.

How is the studying going? I have done all the supplemental in Becker for R1-4. I did well on them, so I feel good, but today I started Blaw and that is going much slower. UGH.

I took REG today, and I didn't feel great about it. Afterward, I had the happy thought that if the 9-9-9 plan ever took effect (and I'm sure it won't), REG would be a little bit easier.

To all who sat for REG in Oct 2011 using becker, we all know becker site releases, various updates and many were released like the tax relief act and so on. How much do they test the updates.

I took REG today. I was expecting way worse after reading these comments. I really only had one question that I never saw covered even once in my Becker book, but it was a basic question and I made a logical guess. Therefore, I think the MC were very fair and I think I did well on those as long as I got some of the ones I was unsure on right. The sims were definitely harder. I would say some were a bit confusing as to what they were asking. I know I nailed the research question and hopefully one other sim, but the other 4 I half guessed on. I hope a couple of those get thrown out. One of them was a very easy question, but I know I missed a bunch because I just didn't study it well. I only had about 50 minutes for the sims and I wish I had more since I wasn't able to use the research tab. I got caught up on 2 MC in my second section. I probably spent at least 10-15 mins on those two alone. I know that I probably got them right, but I am not sure if it was worth it compared to having more time on the sims. Hopefully it turns out in my favor. After AUD I felt similar and ended up with a 90.
