Sorry to freak you out. Really, I just think I am really bad at REG. A couple tips of what NOT to do;
1. Don't disregard law. I think I am terrible at taxes but the last two exams I took, I focused on studying mostly taxes and ended up scoring low in law. Law questions can be tricky.
2. Don't skip studying anything even if the cram DVD or book says not to worry about it. I had one test that covered two topics that were specifically excluded by my study material on the grounds that “they were too complicated to test”.
3. Don't let yourself feel overwhelmed. Every time you study is like a drop of water on a rock. It may not look like its doing much, but over time, the water will create a hole in the rock.
If I can pass, anyone can so NEVER GIVE UP! I have to tell myself that everyday. But honestly, not many people fail a section 4 times. I am on the other side of that now and its no fun but not the end of the world.
Study material. I work full time as an auditor, so finding time to study is difficult. The following details my study material experience:
AUD- passed by completing 100% of the Gleim Online Program
FAR-passed by completing 100% of the Gleim Online Program
BEC- failed on Gleim, passed with the Yaeger Cram DVD- wonderful DVD
REG- failed using Gleim Online, Practice Questions, CDs, about everything they have, I tried. I also used the Yaeger Cram DVD. Great DVD, but must be supplemented with a detailed study.
I love Gleim but I need a push on REG. I am considering using Becker Final Review. Have you used that?
