It's definitely harder. My 2011 Becker REG text added 100 more pages than the Becker text I used in 2009.

We're back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my test on Tuesday and I thought it went well. Out of the 72 MCQs I had an issue with 8 to 10 of them. Out of the 6 sims, I had 2 research questions that I know I nailed, 1 was totally out there, 1 I had to use the research for, and the remaining 2 I was pretty familiar with so I think I did ok. Now onto FAR. I'm starting to panic it's in less than 3 weeks!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

good luck Loaf! This was my first time taking this exam, but I still agree with Allyson. By far, this was the hardest exam to study for. You feel like you have to KNOW everything.

I should have gotten tons done, but no such luck for me. Should have called Peter…but I guess you ladies had him pretty busy!!!! Audit keeps calling me, but I don't seem to pick up the phone!!!

I don't know what you are using for FAR, but I thought the Yaeger cram was great. Cindy made up some study notes that were great. This was what got me to pass it on the third try. It filled in all the holes that were missing for me. GL

HI all .. I am new to another 71, but I took my exam on Monday and only remember having 5 sims. Has anyone only had 5 or did I totally just cause myself to fail this exam? Please help!!

@ jomarie – I am glad you had a good experience with your test, I am sure you did just fine.

@ pleasehelpme – There were 6 separate tabs for the simulations for REG, maybe you had 1 research and 5 sims?
