Don't get me wrong bud the test was not easy. However, I prepared like e Demon for this bad boy. I did over 3500 + MC and prob around 80 Sims and still think I could have failed. I feel like I got more tax MC than I expected which I think was in my favor. It hard to recap at least for me my experience, as soon as I am done my mind goes completely blank. All I know is I felt comfortable with about 90% of the questions they asked…can't say for sure I got over a 75 but of I were betting I think I have a good chance too. I took this test on before (68) and I didn't put nearly as much effort into studying and I believe I thought the test was much harder than this time around. I am just hoping that is b/c I was more prepared and not b/c I bombed it!

Well tomorrow is my first ever CPA test. I feel generally prepared. When all is said and done, I've banged out 2,500 MCQ and about 40 SIMS. At this point I just want to get this bad boy over with. Any last minute recommendations?

Bamer – Since I took it today I feel compelled to say that you should always know what your “Basis” is. I think you can draw your own conclusion as to what I mean.

    Wish ya luck!

@Bakerslky – Thanks for the wishes! I'm glad to hear that as i've based a lot of my studying on that topic.

Hi all, I just came back from my exam. Overall I think I did OK. However, all my simulations were fill in the blank (enter a value). Should I be concerned? I forgot to double click the cell to see if there was an answer key for that particular cell? Please advise as I am starting to get really worried about it.

    Thanks!!

Most of my simulations are fill in a value…I wouldn't worry about that.

Just began studying for REG and am using the Becker 2011 materials. I have used this for the past 3 exams but was thinking about supplementing it with something else. Any suggestions?? thanks for the help.

I took the test today and thought the Wiley test bank really helped in terms of their questions compared to what I saw on the exam.

@ smac – All I used was Becker 2011 (no updates). Everything I saw on my test was covered with that material. Everybody here just likes to scare everyone else. Just keep doing the MC until you're comfortable. Of course, I just took it today, so let's wait until I get my grade first….

The test was okay, better than my first attempt one. The first testlet was more of BL but the second and third was heavy on Tax. The simulation was completely fill in the blank… just wished becker had more on property stuff..looked up some old Wiley CD (2007) and wish I had gone throught that.

    FAR: 5/31/11 Passed
    AUD: 10/08/11 Passed
    BEC: 01/07/12 Passed
    REG: 11/27/11,2/27/12 5/12 passed
    Got my license on 10/17/12........

    Hey Everyone.

I'm new to the forum but was hoping you all could offer some advice. I just scheduled my first test REG for 4/2. I've gone to the Becker live courses and have been working back through the material myself more slowly. Any suggestions on what I should focus on in the next few weeks leading up to the exam? Also I was thinking about purchasing the Ninja Notes. What do you guys think? Are they worth it? Any advice/ tips are welcome 🙂

OH MY FREAKING GOD. Less than 24 hrs until my first ever CPA test. So freaked out. I am going to beat this exam into submission and then walk out of the prometric site laughling like a crazy person.
