Curious, brutal how? Obscure tax topics (like the farm one I got in wiley, really? who the hell is preparing a farmers return not me Im damn sure of that)? Very detailed topic?

Nothing super obscure or anything, but three topics were a LOT more detailed than what was covered with Yaeger/Wiley and one was barely covered at all.

@ R Baker – Well hopefully the one that wasn't covered at all was the pre-test question. Did you use the Wiley Test Bank to practice SIMS?

That's my hope as well, haha.

And yeah, I used the test bank a decent amount over the last week. I like Wiley a lot; they do a good job at making the questions very close to the exam in terms of difficulty.

Well that's good to know. I've been churning out MCQ and SIMS using the 2012 test bank for the last two weeks. Some SIMS are pretty easy and straight forward while others, like completing Form 4797 page 1 & 2, seem to be more complex. I wish they'd let you use Lacerte for the exam 😉

How much time did you end up needing for the SIMS?

Thanks for the well wishes all. So I took REG yesterday. The multiple choice were not too bad, but there were a few tricky ones. Sims had a few twists in them too. I am not sure how well I did ;/ On to BEC next.

@ Jokami – I feel your pain. We're both taking the test on Tuesday. Only two more days. I'M SO FREAKED OUT.

@ Kambsa – Hopefully you passed. We're rooting fort you! Did you use the Wiley Test Bank? If so, do you feel it prepared you well for the MCQ?

I took REG on Friday…MCQs weren't too bad (just lot of b-law/ethics, very less taxation) and SIMS weren't horrible either. This only makes me more worried. I probably didn't do so well on testlets and thus it never got harder:(

bamer101 – Thanks! I am rooting for everyone on here too to pass these exams!! I used Becker and supplemented with Gleim MC. The questions were more similar to Becker. I didn't use Wiley test bank, but I did use Becker supp with Wiley book questions for AUD and felt it was a good supplement. I think Gleim is information overload, but they're questions are good. I am not sure if the questions in Wiley book are the same as the questions on the Wiley Test Bank. Two weeks for results to come out and I have no idea what to expect. Good luck all and study hard.

Just took the exam . It was tough but I think I did enough to get a 75. I can never tell if questions were harder between test lets but they def were wordier. My sims were doable except for the answer key in one, it was written in Jiborish! Here's to hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

Wow, a lot of people said their MCQs weren't too bad. If your MCQs were anything like mine, then you guys must be geniuses. On my test, they’ve asked lots of DETAILS and really went in depth on the concepts. Even Testlet 1 was hard as it is (which usually not a good sign for me), but I couldn’t believe it when Testlets 2 and 3 got wordier and trickier. Not sure if that means I did well on Testlet 1, but I don’t recall doing all that great on it.
