Hi,

Can somebody please help me with this one. In the Wiley Book 2008-2009, 35th ed, For Casualty losses we have a $100 floor. But in 2010-2011, 37 ed, it is giving both $500 floor and as well $100 floor. Though the explanation is given for both, but I really can't figure out which one to use when. Can anyone please explain this in simple details. Thanks in advance.

I emailed Becker about the same issue. They indicated that 500 was a special rule for 2009 only, and all other years (including the current rule) are 100. Hope this helps.

I took reg today–not too bad. Very surprised about how very little phase outs were tested and how absolutely nothing on Reg 6 or 7 showed up on my exam…Simulations were tricky. I dd notice that one was a little out of left field.

Eelko I agree…the mc was ok. the second Sim could not have been easy for too many ppl. there was not a lot from reg 6 or 7 in Becker. I never know with these exams. I'm hoping the amount of ppl won't change the grading too much
