seepee – did you mean to post this in REG or FAR?

For FAR I believe they are important….

Trevor!! Hope your REG exam went well 🙂 How is everything?! Are you enjoying some free time right now?

Michelle! When do you take REG?

Good luck Florida_Candidate – with your scores I don't think you are going to have a problem.

@ seepee – I would definitely know pensions or at least have a basic understanding of calculations, etc.

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

    Hey all-

Anyone used Gleim MC software for REG? If so, what were you scoring before your exam? To me, the REG questions seem much more difficult in Gleim compared to what I experienced with FAR, AUD, and BEC. I've done 750+ plus questions so far and seem to be getting worse!

    Anyone have any insight?

Sorry to the two posters above me, I really have no idea what the answers to your questions are.

I'm just checking in to update on my study situation.

I've “relearned” R1 & R2 and feel pretty confident about individual taxation.

Goal is to have R3 “relearned” by Sunday night to stay on Study Plan. Hopefully will have it done before then but I've been finding it hard to stay on track. It's homecoming week in my college, and moving apartments, and my friends are going through crises… always something 🙂

When I wake up tomorrow i'll only have 11 days left. Wow, time flies!

    @Florida–

LOL I've been struggling with the Gleim probs too. About 2 weeks ago I was scoring in the mid 60's, but for some reason my scores kept getting worse and worse. I'm going back through the tax study units again and it's helping–tax is so tricky!

I think this stuff is a matter of memorization and repetition, it's just a struggle to keep the info inside my head. I feel like as soon as I learn one concept I forget another. Kind of like Homer Simpson when he said “Remember when I took that wine making class and forgot how to drive?” Haha

Keep up with the problems….it's all we can do.

Yeah Becker's questions were much easier. I took a progress exam last night and scored 100% lol. I mean I remembered some of the fact patterns but I also remembered the reason the answer was what is was. I hope eventually it'll get like that with gleim. Practice Practice Practice! 🙂

Good luck Florida! I have to do a ton of non-cpa studying this weekend, but still hoping to get about 4 hrs of cpa studying in both days! Next weekend I'm going back to see a bunch of friends at my school so I have to get a lot done this weekend and upcoming week!

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

Well, I woke up early and got through more of R5. Hope to read the last section of it before church & maybe get in the MCQ. I have my niece's birthday party around 3:00 and that'll probably eat up the rest of the day.

For some reason it's getting really difficult to want to make time to study! I keep telling myself push yourself one more month and you might just be done with the CPA for the rest of your life.

Oh football, family, and friends, why do you tempt me so. 🙁

So I think I clocked about 3 hrs of cpa studying this weekend :(, totally not the 4 hrs per day I was aiming to hit… I had some issues with my paper writing, as the site I had to use kept sending me error messages and logging me out… I still have to finish studying for my midterm on wednesday and finish off the paper due tomorrow… I think I'll be taking 15 minutes this week to eat lunch so I can clock about 45 minutes in study time at work… I'm hoping to still get about an hour in every night for cpa review as well but I can't get myself to stay up until midnight or later studying when I have to get up at 6am for 10-14hr days (when I count in my night class and commuting)….

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
