I called NASBA this morning and the agent told me that according to their system, I never sat for the exam!? I told the agent that I had a confirmation letter from Prometric that I wrote on May 28th, 2010. She told me to email customer service and call some number and leave a message. They say they will get back to me within 5 business days…
So I called Prometric. I asked if they could confirm my attendance. After the agent had to look through “a couple of their systems” they finally found my name. When I called the actual test center he said that I wasn't in the log book?!! I am certain I signed that page in the little binder they have. After futher searching they found my confirmation. I then asked, “can you confirm that my exam is in your system or was sent to NASBA/AICPA?” The response after 10 minutes of hold was, “we will get back to you in 48 hours.” Sounds like Prometric screwed up.
Anybody have an experience similar to this? Please don't tell me I have to re-write.
Coincidently, my girlfriend wrote the exam (CPA reciprocity – she's a Canadian CA) a couple years ago and they actually gave her the wrong version of the exam and they forced her to re-write instead of mark the one they had. **Frustrated.
