    FARBehind,

74 is like a sad joke, really. I remember checking NASBA several times after hoping that it would turn into 75 lol

Mpofu, this is crazy they are doing this to you… I hope it's the last waiting game for both us!

I failed REG with 73. The score report showed my MCQ and simulation both checked strong and only written comm checked weak. I wrote a whole page on the first written comm but left blank on the second one because of lack of time. I am very sad that I have to retake it the THIRD time. I am just depressed… no motivation to study at all. I am supposed to move on to FAR now but I guess I should just retake REG next. I know I need to get back on track again but I cannot get over it. I am very tired of taking the exam again and again. I feel so awful.

    desperate to pass,

i know this will not make you feel any better but i know how 73 feels, i got 2 of them: it is just awful. i wish they didn' t give grades between 70 and 75 because it just hurts… but you are close and you can do it.

from what you describe i have one insight: you wrote one full page on one written communication but left the other one blank. you should rather divide your time and write half page for each written comm because i heard they only grade one of them and what if you are not lucky and they picked your blank one. you are just taking a bigger risk when you do that.

I took REG 5/20, and I think I must have done terrible because it wasn't too bad. I did have one written communication that was really more of a BEC question, so it may have been a pre-test BEC written for the 2011 changes. The simulations aren't adaptive, are they? I felt like my second simulation was ridiculously easy.

    BEC 52, 61, 74, 77
    AUD 80
    REG 75
    FAR 50, 60, 70, 74, 83...DONE!!

    Megan,

I took REG at the end of May also and I feel the exact same way. Both of my sims were on topics I was familiar with and the MC didn't seem terrible. Hopefully we just got lucky and got easy tests. Good luck to you

Desperate to Pass- I know this doesn't help but third time is a charm. I finally passed it on my third time and I was just like you giving up hope on it. I felt like I was really prepared and just couldn't see to pass it. Getting that 77 this time around was a great feeling. Try to get back into studying as much as it stinks.

    FAR- 80, REG- 72,69, 77 (this felt great), BEC- 74 retake on 8/26, AUD- 72, 79

I took Reg on 4/16, and have been going to the mailbox everyday (Live in non-Nasba state). I also have been calling the board of accountancy EVERY day. I called this afternoon, and I passed with an 85. When I took the exam, there were several topics that I had not really understood at all. THANK GOD, none of them were on my exam. I feel that I got extremely lucky, and feel that GOD was watching over me that day.

Good luck to you all. I am studying FAR to get my class credit with Becker, and then going to schedule the exam in July. I don't have a date yet.

Desperate to pass, this is my 5th time studying and 6th time taking REG overall… It's been my last exam section to pass for about 1 year now and I got a 72 and 74 on my last two exams… seeing a 74 after your 5th time really is disappointing, to say the least. I feel your pain and I know it's not easy to sit for this section again. I've been out of school for almost 4 years and it isn't getting any easier studying with a job that is 30%+ non-local travel year round. I opted to take a week vacation from work this May and spent the entire week studying REG right before my exam instead of taking a real vacation. In the last 2+ months I went through my entire study program again like I had never been through it before. I definitely think it helped, but I won't really know until I get my REG exam score later this month (in wave 2). Stick with it, desperate to pass, you can do it. If I can do it you can do it. Just don't get overconfident with it this time. You will have to work harder than before and don't take it for granted. That's a mistake I probably made, so don't bother repeating it.

I sat for REG on 04/01 and still haven't gotten my results (CA). It is so frustrating and the worst thing: The process is kind of a black-box…No email, nothing.

This is my final part… Even more devastating.

    Jack13,

Took REg 04/01 as well and it is my last part, and no result, keep a cool head for another 2-3 weeks we should get something, hopefully the final nail in the coffin.

I took mine early April as well. I'm from Wisconsin, however, and this state waits until all scores from all four exams from a given wave are in and then they spend a week reviewing them. I've been told from the Wisconsin coordinator at NASBA that they may upload Wisconsin scores tonight.

Wisconsin scores came out. Wish they hadn't. I fell a few points short with a 71. I knew things were going to well after getting a 87, 89, and 90 on the other three exams. Back to the books.
