Oh, and a word of advise. The simulations in REG “killed me”. I had to B.S. both of my communications cuz I had no clue what I was talking about. I struggled with almost every tab. I even had 2 tabs that I filled almost 20 slots with zeros because I run out of time and the calculations were insane. And I still passed with an 84.

I am in Michigan. When I try the Ohio loophole – it says all parts are still in progress. I have passed FAR and AUD, and take BEC tomorrow. Will the loophole work for me? The wait is killing me!

Debbie…Im in the same boat as you, except that I take BEC tonight at 6:30. I called NASBA and they said they received my score and it should be uploaded within 24 to 48 hours. I keep trying the loophole but I get the same message you do. I think it will work once the scores get loaded into the system, so keep trying! I am!

Trojan.CPA ha detto: trojan how was AUD… I take it tomorrow and I am freaking out….i have done things i never do like puking that is sooo not me….anyhoo i am using becker.  did you have any problems….did you memorize all the mneumonics??? Any advice will be welcome….i decided not to check my reg score until AFTER my test tomorrow…..Although I did both of the sims….thanks to Club 75's webinar…..i want to kiss that yaegar guy!!

Edit: Just called NASBA. AICPA did not release my REG to them so far. I guess there are more wave 1b results coming. Just hoping I don't have to wait for wave 2.

Debbie, that just means they dont have your score yet.  Once they have your score it will either say you passed all sections or it will let you register if you failed.

I just tried and it said I passed and it won't let me register.  I feel pretty good right now, but I just have to see the score to really feel great!

I hope that loophole thing is legit cause it says i have passed all parts of the uniform CPA examination. Still freaking out over actual score releases, which i REALLY hope will be tonight. Just want the stress to end.

supposedly its only if you have already passed the other three sections and NASBA has your score for the fourth but has not yet released it. i don't know much about it, i just tried it about 20 min ago and I liked what i saw lol. REG is the only passing score i waiting on…

Hey magic_8_ball,

I feel that Becker prepared me well for it. I was not surprised with my score because I didn't find anything not covered by Becker but I knew that I had a bunch wrong. As soon as I walked out of that exam I knew that I was on the 70s. You definitely have to know all your mneumonics, one of my communications was completely based on a mneumonic. It was something like “name the 4 of the 8…” and I remember a couple from the mneumonic and that helped me.

You shouldn't worry, I remember that it was my first exam and I was worried because I got around the mid-60s on my Practice Final.

Just remember to stay awake and possitive during the exam. It is a very long exam, the questions are not as hard as Becker's but the pressure and the lenght of the exam add the difference. If you manage to convince yourself that you can do it, you will have no problem at all. I believe that if you start second-guessing yourself, you will run into trouble because your mind will be distracted and it will affect your performance.

Now I just have to find audit hours… which as a seasoned Tax professional it seems like its gonna be 100X harder than the test itself!
