The delay message on Twitter was a question asked of me, to which I replied No, REG is last sometimes as the prefix, but people only read the suffix that I RT'd.

Basically, no it's not true…REG is just last because…REG is last.

Sorry, It seems I caused confusion. It was written like Jeff is stating that… I just recently joined Twitter and obviously didnt' learn how to read the posts.

It actually gave me some comfort: I was thinking they might try to adjust some grades up and I still have a chance for a 75…

Has BEC, AUD and FAR been released from the AICPA? Are we only waiting for REG now to be released?

dude the twitters/rumors are freaking me out.  we are all on edge and it's because for some god foresaken reason they put us thru the agony of testing and then WAITING FOR TWO MONTHS for our scores so that if we fail, we have to literally scramble to get a NTS and then study and take it in the first wave so that we don't have to wait until the beginning of the testing window to get our scores.  this exam has made me insane.  seriously, insane.

    BEC 76 AUD 86 FAR 81 REG 79

    FINALLY FINISHED!!!!

Perspective for those who freak out about this exam:

It is not supposed to be easy or stress-free. You are trying to earn the highest credential in accounting. Everyone taking the test has to deal with the fees, time, effort and scheduling strategy too.

Current CPAs are not trying to hand out the designations like bank lollipops. They want to make sure that the people joining them earn and deserve to be a CPA.

Imagine a day after you have completed the process. How much respect would you give a new CPA who paid $25 for each section, got to take them on demand and got immediate results? Not much.

I don't expect current CPAs to want to make it easier on us either. So the process simply is what it is. The material is difficult on its own, why let anxiety get the best of you too?

I'm not saying that frustration isn't warranted, but the whining and complaining is counterproductive.

    CHILLLLLLLL….

    AUD: 96 (August 2009) REG: 94 (April 2010)
    FAR: 89 (January 2010) BEC: -- (May 2010)

    Truedat,

I agree that the actual test and material should not be easy to the point where anybody could do it, because that would diminish our profession.  However, the grading process does not need to be this stressful and unorganized.  If we are expected to take the exam and perform at a certain level in a certain amount of time, then we should expect the same from those administering the test.

    Trudat-
If the frustration is warranted, how is the whining counterproductive?  Me complaining about the process isn't slowing the grading process down any.  This is my last exam, so it isn't even affecting my ability to study for another exam.  If it's counterproductive for you then I suggest not reading posts.  The rest of us feel like it takes too long to get our scores back and are sharing our feelings.
Steve125 is right in that we are paying thousands to study and take the exam.  We should be able to expect the test to be difficult and the testing process (registration, testing, and grading) to be quick and smooth.
