    Does anyone have a good example of a tax consolidation calculation (e.g. how to calculate charitable contributions, capital gain/loss, etc.) Becker doesn’t cover the calculation.

    What becker covers is definitely good enough to understand what the examiners will test for.

    The whole idea that if a company files a consolidated return, than dividends between those two companies should not be reported as dividend income is a big idea to master.
