    those of you studying for REG in Property taxation regarding the MARCS dep. what is the basis for a property for DEP. for the following Item:
    Bought and started to use on June 1st year 1:
    Cost of machine $20000
    Insurance for 3 years: $10000
    Tech support for 2 years:$5000
    total paid $35000

    How do we calculate the marcs for the first year?
